There's a small paper packet waiting inside. It has three heart shaped chocolates tucked in there, each with its own filling. The packaging reads, "I think you deserve nice things. Happy Valentine's Day! From, Sora."

No other explanation than that. Enjoy your chocolates, Vanitas! Sora does not love you, but he's trying! ]
